Serengeti NP Sightings
Serengeti is situated in the north, verging on Masai Mara Park, Kenya. On the southeast side it borders Ngorongoro NP. The park is mainly famous for the great drive of hundreds of thousands of Zebras, Gnus and Gazellas looking for water and fresh grassy plains. The migration starts around May in the south of Serengeti, where the animals return around November whilst in the meantime they head for Masai Mara, up north. It’s a great experience to look for game and admire the grantness of the park.
One of our nicest remembrances is the lion, falling out constantly with vultures, that were keen on sharing his prey, a young buffalo.
The enormous density of game makes Serengeti a real paradise for spotters. Virtually every travel origanization, with Tanzania in its portfolio, offers a possibility to visit the park. Just do it! You won’t regret it.
